Subject: Self-assessment scheme for accelerated clearance of import/export cargo.

I am directed to refer to Boards Circular No.30-Cus, dated 4.4.2003 issuedfrom F.No.450/30/2003 videwhich selfassessment scheme for accelerated clearance of import/export cargo wasintroduced on the pilotbasisatAir Customs (both export and import)atSahar, Mumbai, ICD, Tughlakabad, New Delhi and Chennai Sea Customs (both import export).

It hasbeen decided to extend theselfassessment scheme for accelerated clearance of import/export cargo on pilotbasisto Bangalore AirCargo ComplexalsoAccordingly, the para 7 of thesaidCircularhasbeen substitutedasunder: -

7. Initially this scheme will be operated on a pilot basis at Air Customs (both export and import) atSahar, Mumbai, Bangalore Air Cargo Complex(bothexport and import),ICD Tughlakabad, New Delhi and Chennai Sea Customs (both import Export). ”
