Central Registry of SVB cases

The procedure presently followed by Special Valuation Branches (SVBs) is laid down in Board's Instructions contained in F.No.467/32/2000 - Cus. V relating 23rd February 2001. In the said instructions, the Directorate General of Valuation was required to maintain a central registry of SVB decisions. Accordingly, all records received from SVBs have been collated and a central registry has been created in MS Excel format. This central registry is available on the website of this directorate ( All SVB supervisors have been allotted user name and passwords that would enable them to register a new case or modify the details of an existing SVB case.
